A 15-year-old boy was stabbed last night during a brawl at a restaurant at Mission Street and Precita Avenue. The attack happened around 8:30 p.m. when the teenager and a friend were confronted by three men, all aged 20 years old.
The men demanded the youth’s property, and at least one of the three was armed with a knife, according to police reports. The confrontation escalated as the victim began to fight the three men.
It is unclear how the brawl was stopped, but police report that the victim was picked up by a family member afterwards and realized while in the car that he had been stabbed. The teenager was then transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in stable conditions. Police have not reported any arrests in the stabbing.
