A 44-year-old man was pistol-whipped and then robbed while cleaning his van near the intersection of 26th and Wisconsin streets early Thursday morning. The attack happened sometime between midnight and 2:00 a.m., when two unidentified suspects armed with a handgun approached the victim near his vehicle. After demanding his money, the confrontation turned violent when the victim told the suspects that he didn’t have anything. The suspects then procured the handgun, struck the victim over the head, and  proceeded to rob him.

The victim suffered a laceration on the head and was treated at the scene after the suspects fled with his wallet, cell phone, jacket and laptop. No arrests have been made.
