In this day and age, we are all photographers. Billboards advertise iPhone photos that look remarkably clear and enticingly beautiful. We have filter effects on our phones that blow out our wrinkles and our poor exposures are all of the sudden cool on purpose. We have so many choices. And we love selfies. Eating, walking, showering, sleeping… we document every waking hour of our days.
But… what if there is more to it? What if we are missing out on something bigger? I’m not talking about composition or light or trendy tricks. I am talking about a new way of seeing. Mira! See the Mission in a new way. Forget the selfies. Come learn how to document a vibrant, ever changing, pulsating neighborhood full of color and smells and textures and amazing beauty. I’m talking about the Mission. I’m talking about learning a new way to interact with others. Photography is a bridge like no other.
