But the most interesting detail in the piece is that Tartine Bakery “turns out only about 250 loaves a day, most of which are reserved ahead.”  We line up regularly for one of these and as Mission Local reader’s know, the bread’s perfection has inspired a whole column, Perfect (or Not). But, wow, to think of only 250 loaves a day and the Mission is getting them. Yum.
