Today’s Block: Valencia to Mission, 17th to Sycamore.
Daylight savings time and the fog-shrouded sky made the morning dark, but the block was still there to be photographed, and so out I went. Clarion Alley hosts an ongoing mural project, with a mix of old and new murals gracing both sides as well as the pavement itself. Free coffee was on offer at a streetside table around the corner on Mission, bikers pedaled along Valencia on their way to work, I narrowly avoided stepping in human poop, a couple argued heatedly on Sycamore, and the faces on murals impassively watched over it all.
