It is 9:07 a.m. but these photos were taken between 7:00 and 7:30 this morning. It is now 53˚ and expected to rise to 64˚. Details for the next ten days here.
Today’s Block: 14th to 15th, Dolores to Ramona.
The light is really good in the morning these days–I love to see the sun glowing off the tops of buildings.
I first starting coming to this block 10 years ago. I was living in New Jersey but my son and daughter-in-law had an apartment at 15th and Dolores, so this was my introduction to the Mission. When my husband and I were deciding where to move after we were done with NJ, San Francisco was at the top of the list. So it’s great to be back on this block! The whole block is residential, and Ramona (who knew about Ramona? or Hidalgo?) is very quiet, with a few pink blossoming trees that are harbingers of real spring.
With the light good early on, so much the better to sign on to document your block. Don’t wait! Let us know what day and block you would like at info@missionlocal.com.
You can see a map of all of the blocks here. The blocks in grey are being saved for others who have signed up. Let us save a block for you as well.

Love it!
