On June 8 around 7:40 in the evening, a burglary occurred at 520 Hampshire Street during a film shoot. According to witnesses, the perpetrator, a male approximately 30 to 35 years old, stole a Canon 5D Mark III camera, a 24mm-105mm lens, a battery, a CF card and a camera strap.

I think these guys have been casing several live/work spaces in the east Mission for a while. This is the second time our office has been hit recently,” said José Miguel Hernandez, whose equipment was stolen.

Hernandez says the accomplice, a man roughly 60s years old, was driving a “dark blue 1998 full-sized Chevy Silverado pickup.” According to Hernandez, security cameras were able to capture the thief as he climbed onto a fire escape and entered an unlocked window on the second floor of the building.

José Miguel Hernandez is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to an arrest. Please contact him at 813-818-5505.
