Three leather-clad bikers road down Mission Street, between 22 and 21st, as a camera crew captured their ride for a segment of a Modelo Beer commercial currently being shot in the neighborhood. Police officers momentarily stopped traffic as the trio scooted in front of the cameras.

A hired driver standing along Mission Street explained that the commercial was in its second day of shooting and that this stretch was one of many Mission locations featured in the spot. He explained that their next location was somewhere near 30th and Mission.

In between takes, Mission Local asked one of the commercial’s directors why the choice of Mission Street for the ad. He said simply: “Modelo loves the Mission.”
