Four male suspects jumped one 37-year-old man at 2 a.m. Thursday at 24th and Mission streets, according to police.

The men demanded his property. When the suspect refused to comply, one of the suspects stabbed him in the hand. The victim was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects fled on foot and no arrests have been made.

    1. It’s pathetic when you would rather just leave your phone an wallet at home these days rather than risk being violently mugged for them.

  1. This is awful. I’m glad the victim is okay and that the would-be thieves got nothing for their troubles except the potential for felony charges if they are found and identified. But I wish people would learn to just give their muggers their property, so that they don’t risk their lives! A wallet or phone isn’t worth potentially dying over! Of course, it would also help if we could rest easy at night knowing that the SF DA’s office might actually prosecute offenders…
