Voters in Sonoma shot down a ballot measure on Tuesday, crushing the possibility of restricted hotel development in Wine Country, reports The Chronicle.

Supporters of the measure said hotel restrictions would protect the city from being overwhelmed by tourists.

  1. Hi, I lived in Sonoma for a month. That was enough for me. I like to be around people. It is like a ghost town at night. It needs more tourism and people in it.
