Calling all artists! It’s not too late to submit your artwork to the Two-Dimensional Art Registry at San Francisco Arts Commission. Deadline has been extended to 11:59 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013. Accepted original artwork includes paintings, drawings, photography, collages, or other two-dimensional media. Submit an application at San Francisco Arts Commission. Two-Dimensional Artist Registry artwork will be used to display in San Francisco’s civic buildings during 2013-2014.
For college students, nothing’s worse than getting a tuition bill. Worse, a bill you thought you had more time to pay off. Soon, however, many collegiates will have to fork over the funds for all unpaid registration fees. In an effort to avoid loosing accreditation by next summer, City College of San Francisco is frantically taking aim at nearly 20,000 of its students to reclaim those $4.6 million in fees—some of which date back a decade.
