Wednesday:

According to police, at 9:28 p.m., two male suspects and one female suspect pulled up in a black Sedan behind a man who was parking his car in a garage on 16th Street. The suspects would not let him leave, got out of their car and approached him. The two male suspects began punching the victim in the face. The victim was able to flee, flagged down a passerby and asked them to call 911. The suspects then fled down 16th Street. The victim lost a backpack, money and a cell phone, and suffered a cut on the top of his right eye. No arrests were made.

Thursday:

At 4:37 a.m., a man waiting at a bus stop at 22nd and Mission Streets was approached by three suspects, according to police. The suspects asked the man for a dollar, and when he told them that he did not have a dollar, one of the suspects punched him in the face, reached into his pocket and stole his cell phone. The victim suffered from non life-threatening injuries.

  1. Where are the police?? Why are they not out patroling our neighborhood and keeping us safe?! I almost NEVER see a police officer patroling the streets of the Mission, just being available to help civilians, see what’s actually going on here on the streets. It’s very frustrating.

    1. liquely the police are immune to this. It’s been happening since the 60’s sorry folk is one of the many perks that come with living in a culturally diverse neighborhood. AKA El Pinche Barrio De La Mission.. love it or leave ESE…..
