It’s 7 a.m. and 57º, headed to 74º. It’s going to be another sunny day in the Mission.

The Examiner reports that Mission residents are concerned with what seems to be an increase in gang violence. Concerns were voiced at last night’s community meeting, where Police Chief Greg Suhr addressed the Sunday morning shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

SF Appeal reports reports that Supervisor Scott Wiener is set to defend planned renovations for Dolores Park. His support comes after a delay caused by the request of one resident to limit off-leash dog play areas.

Bernal Cutlery, a knife specialty shop, is relocating from Bernal Heights to the Mission but will keep the same name, SF Eater reports. The move will come next month.
