It’s 7 a.m. and 55º, headed to 61º. It’s cloudy now, but should be sunny by the afternoon.

A new Filipino pop-up up restaurant, 13 North, will serve dinner on Valencia Street for three evenings next week, reports Eater SF. The pop-up will take over the former Lot 7 space at 974 Valencia next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Armory building at 14th and Mission streets has received a permit to host community events, according to the Examiner. It will soon have a community center where trade shows, sporting events and theater performances can be held.

Baseball is back. The Giants played their home opener last night at AT&T Park, and the Chronicle reports there were a lot of festivities as the World Champions relived last season with a 1-0 victory over the Cardinals.
