The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Senator Dianne Feinstein is continuing to push for her bill that would stop the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of military-style assault weapons and certain ammunition feeding devices. The bill is reportedly likely to fail in the Senate, but Feinstein said she wants to see it come to a vote.

The Bike Kitchen on Florida Street is hosting a workshop today to provide bike tips and safety training to community members, part of an effort to help improve access to bikes and other alternative modes of transportation for communities of color. The workshop, called Bikes for the People, is sponsored by the Bicycle Coalition and PODER and will take place from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
