The San Francisco Police Department is asking the public to help identify the suspect in two recent assaults in the Mission. Both attacks occurred between 1 and 3 a.m. in areas between 22nd and 23rd streets. Click here for more details and to see a sketch of the suspect.

The SF Examiner reports that Supervisor David Campos has been working with officers and at-risk youth who are interested in leaving gangs. The program, which has been active for 18 months, is looking to expand and incorporate employment opportunities.
