It’s almost New Year’s Eve, and Mission Local wants you to say goodbye to 2012 in style. You don’t have to go far to celebrate the new year — we’ve compiled a list of events happening right here in the Mission.

Free NYE champagne toast at one of SF’s oldest bars | Elixir. If you’re looking to just get out of the house and celebrate New Year’s Eve on the cheap, then this is the spot for you. It will be business as usual at Elixir, with the bonus of a free midnight champagne toast. Oh, and did I mention? There’s no cover charge.

Marga Gomez and Funny Ladies seize New Year’s Eve | Brava Theater.
