A woman police described as 32–33 years old robbed a man inside a hotel room at 16th and Mission streets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the pair agreed to go to a hotel to have sex. When they were inside the room, the victim, a 40-year-old man, gave the woman cash. The suspect then threatened to have her friend beat up the victim.

The victim got scared and left, according to police records. No arrest has been made.

In an unrelated incident, a woman was robbed at gunpoint at 11 p.m. on Wednesday at 21st and Harrison streets.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was walking when a man approached her on a mountain bike. He brandished a handgun and demanded her property. She gave the man her cell phone and wallet, which included an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then fled on the bike. No arrest has been made.
