The California Council of the Blind, CCB, will hold its second annual Mutt Strut fundraiser at Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco on Saturday, September 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Mutt Strut is a 2k – 5k walk/run for dogs and their two-legged companions. All dogs must be well-behaved and kept on leash. Two-legged participants needn’t be accompanied by a dog. Proceeds from the Mutt Strut will help to fund the CCB’s services to blind and visually impaired Californians.

On the day of the event, registration will begin at 8:00 AM. Welcome and opening ceremonies begin at 8:45 AM. The walk/run will start at 9:30 a.m.

Throughout the morning there will be food, entertainment and also information tables staffed by representatives of nonprofit agencies and companies. Each registered participant will receive a t-shirt, a bandana for each participating dog and a “wag bag” containing assorted goodies.
