Good news for all the food foragers and food-loving people out there. The Underground Market is coming back. It will be happening on June 28 at Public Works to your gustatory delights.

Founder Iso Rabins is hosting his popular food event to help with the last push for his Kickstarter campaign his new project, Forage Kitchen, a shared kitchen space.

The market will include some food favorites from the past, including Vietnamese cuisine from Rice Paper Scissors, artisan cheese from Mission Cheese, and frozen custard cups from Frozen Kuhsterd. There will also be many other foraged finds costing no more than $5 for your curious palate at the event as well.

Rabins will have live music and a date auction that will allow you to bid on local chefs. By bidding on local chefs, you might get to do things like taking a ramen tour of the South Bay with Richie from Hapa Ramen, taking a Vietnamese tasting tour of San Francisco with the chefs from Rice Paper Scissors, and going on an abalone diving trip with Rabins.

The Underground Food Market will open at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The date auction will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets will be $10 at the door, and special tickets that include skipping the line and getting one free drink can be purchased here.
