Good morning, Mission, it is currently 60° and headed to the high 60s. Details here.

Local’s Corner, a neighborhood restaurant owned by Yaron Milgrom of Local Mission Eatery on 24th Street, got an excellent review from the Chronicle’s Michael Bauer:

I experienced a similar wow moment with the oyster soup ($10), a creamy blend with diced red potatoes, two raw miyagi oysters that play off the seafaring flavors in the broth, onions and the surprise of baby turnips. I’ve not had turnips and oysters paired, but it’s a lovely juxtaposition of land and sea.

And the SPCA is giving away kittens, says Mission Mission.

Have a nice day, everyone!

  1. I’m very happy for Milgrom’s success, especially since he had to overcome so much opposition to establish his business.
