Firefighters are currently battling a four-alarm fire at pier 29 (near Fisherman’s Wharf). Photographer Cole Rise took this stunning photo of the roof collapsing.

From SFGate:

“San Francisco firefighters are battling a four-alarm blaze at Pier 29 along the Embarcadero, officials said.

The fire broke out shortly before 2 p.m. on the triangular pier, which is part of an area being reconstructed to host next year’s America’s Cup yacht race.

The building has been used for parking and is believed to be unoccupied. No injuries have been reported.”
