There’s a new lunch option on Bryant and 18th streets. Actually, there are plenty of options at Mission Dispatch, a parking space turned into a rotating food truck venue.

Mission Dispatch, which opened May 8, is right behind the KQED building, and Bay Area Bites writers were out tasting the food from day 1. From Monday through Friday, two food trucks will be dishing out lunch plates. Today, the Mission Loc@l crew tried Old World Food Truck and 3 Sum Eats.

We loved the carrot salad and the mint lemonade.

The chicken schnitzel sandwich was a popular choice. The winner was the BLT sandwich from 3 Sum Eats; it was so good we have no pictures of it! A word of caution: share the BLT or prepare to have a very unproductive afternoon.
