Friends of Aldo “Trigger” Troncoso, who was fatally shot on Feb. 26, 2011, at 17th and Mission streets, left candles and flowers to mark the one-year anniversary of his death.

In addition to a photo taped to a pole, friends left balloons and empty beer bottles at the foot of the pole, just as they did in the days following his death and on his birthday in October.
