It’s 7 a.m., 52° and headed to a cloudy high of 57°. Details are here.

Don’t forget that the westbound deck of the Bay Bridge — the one leading into the city — is closed for all of the long weekend. If you’re sticking around town to avoid the hassle, here’s a list of events taking place right here in the Mission:

– Salsa and bachata dance classes at Dolores Park at 1 p.m.

– A sausage-eating and beer-drinking contest at Rosamunde at 2 p.m.

– A ping pong bash with free PBR at Z Space at 5 p.m.

– A lucha libre fundraiser at John O’Connell at 6 p.m.

We’ll be at a couple of the events, so check back with us for a recap of the happenings.

And in other news, for those who are out apartment hunting, the Bay Citizen has a piece on how rent control subsidizes SF’s super-rich.

Happy Saturday!
