A 33-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed twice in the back near 16th and Mission streets on Saturday.

The victim told police that three masked suspects approached him at around 6 p.m. and demanded his money. The victim tried to run away, but the suspects caught and stabbed him.

The victim fled again and was stopped by police. The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

  1. so now random stabbings in the early evening at one of the busiest intersections in the Mission are happening ? Awesome job SFPD, Ed Lee and the Board of Supervisors ! Maybe this is why Captain Corrales will now be working the airport ?
