The San Francisco Chronicle reports that firefighters battled a five-alarm blaze this afternoon in two residential buildings near Alamo Square, at 1015 Pierce St. and at 1502 Golden Gate Ave. This photo was taken from the Mission Loc@l office on 17th Street.
