It’s 6 a.m., 58° and going to 72°. Best of all — the weather looks good for the next 10 days.

What a beautiful day for Sunday Streets yesterday. All — well, nearly all — the pols were out with their supporters. We’ll have something up later today or tomorrow. Can you guess which prominent mayoral candidate failed to make it?

Macworld writes that yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the iPod’s launch.

In other Apple news, here’s a rundown from SF Gate of last night’s “60 Minutes” interview with Steve Jobs biographer Walter Isaacson.

Here’s one excerpt, on adoption:

STEVE JOBS TAPES: And she said, “So does that mean your real parents didn’t want you?” Ooooh, lightning bolts went off in my head. I remember running into the house, I think I was like crying, asking my parents. And they sat me down and they said, “No, you don’t understand. We specifically picked you out.”

WALTER ISAACSON: He said, “From then on, I realized that I was not — just abandoned. I was chosen. I was special.” And I think that’s the key to understanding Steve Jobs.

We’re a little behind on the news from Curbs & Stoops, but Peter Matos, who last showed at the Shooting Gallery, has a beautiful print out, Leaves of Grass.

Have a good week, lc
