Students are gathered at the picnic tables in Dolores Park to raise funds for ESL classes offered at the Women’s Building on 18th Street. The funds they raise will help keep their courses on schedule and provide books and dictionaries for the students.
The students are hosting their event just behind the park’s restrooms and will be selling baked goods, cold drinks and salads until 4 p.m. today. A raffle will also take place before the end of the event, so go ahead and try your luck — you might win a hair dryer or a bottle of wine.
