It’s 7:01 a.m., 52° and headed to 67°. The Fourth was lovely and all, but it’s nice to feel like I live in San Francisco again. Details are here.
Had you been wondering where they were? Uptown Almanac reports that Dolores Park Movie Nights are taking a year off. There will still, however, be Film Night in the Park, which will bring you “Jaws” (8/13) and “Top Gun” (9/24) before the summer is gone. So you could think of this mayoral debate as “American Idol” for candidates. It’s this coming Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Public Works, 161 Erie Street. Bevan Dufty, David Chiu, Dennis Herrera, Leland Yee and John Avalos will all be there. Note: You must RSVP to attend, which you can do here.
