What a Fourth! It feels like this was the first-ever-in-the-history-of-recorded-time non-obstructed-by-fog fireworks in the Mission. Or at least it looked that way while I was hanging out of our office window, alternately gaping in wonder and running back to edit slideshows of the squatters who celebrated the Fourth by occupying a vacant SRO at 20th and Mission.
Did you get any good photos of the fireworks? Or of Fourth of July in the Mission? Add them to our Flickr pool or email a link to missionlocal@gmail.com.

Thanks for the reminder about NERT. I intend to take the training this summer. Can’t believe everybody’s getting all kinds of outrageous disasters, and here we are in disasterville waiting our turn.
