The weekend of robberies began on Friday at 11 p.m., on Folsom near 25th Street, when three male suspects between the ages of 18 and 20 approached a 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man from behind.

The suspects jumped the couple and pushed them to the ground. They held the victims down, went through their pockets and took two cell phones and cash before releasing them and fleeing on foot. The victims suffered no physical injuries and no arrests have been made.

Saturday: One Robbery

At 20th and Folsom streets, a suspect in his early 30s punched a 29-year-old man in the head six to seven times before stealing his keys and fleeing the scene at around 11:50 p.m.

Sunday: Two Robberies

Two 22-year-old women were robbed by a group of three men early Sunday morning on Treat Avenue near Precita Park.

Around 12:55 a.m., the two were approached by three suspects. One suspect reached out and took the cell phone from one of the victim’s hands. The other suspects grabbed the victim’s purse and managed to take it after ripping the handle. The suspects then fled on foot.

At 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, a 29-year-old woman was robbed at 22nd and Alabama streets.

The victim was approached from behind by a male suspect, who pushed her and stole her purse. It contained cash, credit cards, her ID and a Fast Pass. The victim was unable to give a detailed description of the suspect. No arrests have been made.
