The Planning Commission unanimously approved on Thursday a mixed-use, 18-unit condominium at 899 Valencia Street.

Construction is expected to last between a year and 18 months.

The Commission also unanimously approved the permit for Pollo Campero to begin operating at 2740 Mission Street. The Commission asked the project’s sponsors to address the neighbors’ noise and odor concerns. The sponsors agreed to fully enclose the backyard.
