- St. Charles Barromeo School, teaching students in the Mission since 1894, is looking for funding to enroll more students, reports Catholic San Francisco. The on-line site reports that enrollment is down to 205 this year from 252 two years ago.
- In other education news, there will be a new K-8 Catholic school in the Mission District on August 1 when “Megan Furth Academy, now housed at the former St. Dominic School in the Western Addition, and Mission Dolores School, the parish school of Mission Dolores Parish,” merge.
