The video above shows the minutes before a car entered the intersection of Mission and 21st Streets last night, into a crowd of Giants fans huddled around a bonfire celebrating the World Series victory.

The video, along with footage previously posted on our site, goes on to show the crowd assaulting the vehicle and attempting to pull the driver and passenger out, before riot police intervene.

Though the video appears to show the car accelerating into the crowd, there have been conflicting accounts as to whether the vehicle struck any people on the street.

One witness said she didn’t see the car hit any people, but did see people jumping out of the way, according to the police report.

A witness was overheard by Mission Loc@l saying that the car “threw six people into the fire.”

The incident is still under investigation, Mission Station Captain Greg Corrales said at 5:45 p.m. this evening. The two men in the vehicle were observed by police officers to be bloodied and dazed. They were taken to San Francisco General Hospital and are considered victims in the incident, Corrales said.
