Also noted

This past Memorial Day (May 31) was the first time in San Francisco’s history that meters were enforced on a holiday.

The average number of tickets issued in SF on a typical day is 1,700. Memorial Day pulled in 4,097 tickets. Good or bad news, depending on how you feel about cars, city funding strategies and those tiny, tiny ticketmobiles.
