So what’s the word on the street today? For starters, Foolsfury, a San Francisco based theater ensemble, is opening FURY Factory 2009 featuring “cutting edge ensemble theater”  and starting TONIGHT about shifting values in response to our ever changing worlds. For three weeks, Traveling Jewish Theatre and NOHspace will buzz with  performances six nights a week. The works come from the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Brooklyn, NYC, and Portland and as far away as from Afghanistan, and the UK.

Tonight, theater ensembles and dance companies will perform works-in- progress at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Want to know if JROTC will become an approved PE class, check our twitters from the intrepid Marsha Polovets who also wrote about poor Eric here.

One of my favorite places to go out in the Mission is Bollywood Cafe on 19th and Capp.  Tonight they feature an open mike.  So if you are looking for your five seconds of fame…..go now, it started at  8p.m.

Wednesday’s party at Bollywood Cafe sounds fun.  Fiesta Flamenca, featuring Flamenco performances, flamenco inspired artwork, and DJ music.  Everyone is invited to participate in “juerga” style (improvisation) and to dance Sevillanas, Rumbas, etc. Admission $10.  If you miss it, you can always catch it again every 2nd Wednesday of each month.

That’s it for Today’s Mission.  Check back with us mañana!
