In what police are calling a drug-related robbery, a man with a gun robbed another man at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. This incident took place in the 2200 block of Mission Street, between 17th and 18th streets. No arrests have been made.
Later that night, five men were shot in front of Whisper, a club at 535 Florida St. All five victims are in their 20s, and their injuries were not life threatening.
The incident took place around 2 a.m., just after Whisper and Circolo, the club across the street, had closed.
Someone in the crowd fired numerous rounds. Police gave no description of the suspect, who has not been apprehended.
Just after 3 a.m. Sunday morning, a man was stabbed near the intersection of 16th and Mission streets. The suspect fled in a car, and no arrest has been made.
