On July 4, the Tony Award winning San Francisco Mime Troupe will be presenting its 53rd season with The Last Election at Dolores Park. Based on the classic 19th century melodrama The Poor of New York, the Troupe turns the story on its head, telling it from the point of view of the misunderstood Godzillionaires who have made this country what it is today: broke. There will be a preview performance on Sunday, June 17, at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center at 4 p.m. On July 4, music will begin 1:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 2:00 p.m. The event is free.
