On August 17th Slayer’s Club and Public Works will be bringing Mux Mool and Nosaj Thing to the club for a night of beat magic.
Mux Mool is Brian Lindgren, a small-town Minnesota native who spends most of his in the studio or playing gigs with his M-Audio Trigger Finger midi controller. He rocks venues in small towns and large cities with equal relish and has his music released on quality labels like Ghostly International and Moodgadget.
Nosaj Thing (Jason Chung) hails from Los Angeles, He has shared the stage with folks like DJ AM, Architecture in Helsinki, DJ Krush, Z-Trip, Flying Lotus, Free the Robots, Diplo, The Glitch Mob, and Daedelus. So he’s definitely not half-stepping in the performance area of his music. Add to this the fact that he was the winner in the Turntable Lab/Plastic Little’s remix contest, which featured MF Doom. He also won L.A.’s prestigious Project Blowed beat battle and is a constant crowd-pleaser at Low End Theory when he graces their stage. On top of the top of all that he has remixed Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Elliot Lipp, and Health.
