If you love to eat and think kugel is pretty cool, on Sunday, December 9, starting at 3:00 p.m., please join us for an exciting and fun afternoon of food competition and kugel eating at Congregation Sha’ar Zahav’s 1st Annual Kugel Nosh Down! This is a benefit for the synagogue’s Hebrew school and a chance for everyone to enjoy some good food and fun for a good cause: Prizes, drinks, delicious food to taste and judge, as well as a chance to support a wonderful Hebrew school here in the Mission. Plus, we’ll be lighting the menorah right after prizes are given out at 5:00 p.m. If you are asking, what’s kugel? check out Wikipedia for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Want to compete? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more and enter to win. A limited number of kugel chefs will be competing (and getting to taste others’ kugels for free). Prizes for best sweet and savory, most creative, and more!
Want to have a great time tasting and judging? To sample various kugels, enjoy drinks, and hang out with your friends and neighbors, please purchase tickets soon. Tickets are $25.00 in advance ($30.00 at the door) and are on sale at http://kugelnoshdown.
