Join San Francisco’s Poet Laureate Alejandro Murguía, KPOO FM & Radio Bilingüe announcer Chelis Lopez, San Francisco State Univesity Professor of Spanish Dr. Gustavo Calderon and Yvette Fuentes as they host a lively Día de los Muertos celebration in honor of Carlos Fuentes, one of the great Latin American authors of the 20th century. The program will include insights, stories, and videos related to his life and work. A book sale hosted by Modern Times Bookstore will follow the event.
All programs will be at the Adult Reading Room, 2nd Floor, Mission Branch Library.
