If you want to help the three dozen people displaced by the three-alarm fire at 23rd and Capp streets on Dec. 29, there are two things you should know about:

— Donations for the residents are still being accepted. Here’s a community Facebook page with more information. The Mission Economic Development Agency has set up an account and donations can be made via its website, medasf.org, or via the PayPal link on the community Facebook page.

The latest Facebook post says that hotel assistance provided to those affected by the fire ends after Monday, Jan. 21. The group is asking for people’s help in finding apartments or rooms that could be made available to the displaced residents. If you know of open rooms, send an email to Benjamin.Amyes@sfgov.org or a direct message to the moderators of the Facebook page.

— There will be a benefit at Martuni’s for the four residents of 765 Capp St. on Jan. 28, starting at 7 p.m. For more information, see the Facebook event page here.
