A drive-by shooting early Sunday morning left a 16-year-old boy in critical condition. The shooting took place at 1:22 a.m. at the corner of Potrero and 24th streets.
“Nightcap” opened this weekend at ODC Theater. The performance was the 61st cycle of ODC’s Pilot Program and combined a sampling of new dances. Claudia Escobar went to the rehearsals of Katherine Hawthorne and David Schleiffers to get a sneak peek.
The Jewish Community Resource Council brought together diverse performers, each with their own story of immigration, in an event titled “Iluminando El Camino” or “Lighting the Way.” Jessica Hamel attended the event and described how it brought the community together to share in the struggle that comes with immigration.
