A 17-year-old who was stabbed in the torso multiple times Tuesday night at 21st and Valencia streets (see Mission Local’s story here) is still in the hospital, according to Officer Gordon Shyy, but her condition has been upgraded and her injuries are no longer life-threatening.

It’s not clear whether a fight that broke out shortly before the stabbing was related. No information has been released regarding potential suspects, Shyy said.

A man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. at 18th and Church streets. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s, approached the victim and ordered him to empty his pockets.

The victim complied and the suspect ran away, then got into a vehicle and fled the scene.
