Woman Shot, Stable Condition

Updated 1:50 p.m.: An unidentified 23-year-old woman was shot in the torso early this morning while at 18th and Florida streets, CBS San Francisco reports. The shooting took place around 1:30 a.m.

An SFPD spokesperson told Mission Local that the suspect was a white male, 6 foot, 200 pounds and wearing a grey hoodie, last seen fleeing west from the scene in an unidentified car.

The victim suffered superficial wounds from the shooting, and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where she remains in stable condition.

The earlier version of this piece said the woman was shot in her car – the SFPD spokesperson said current information did not support this account.
