It’s 7 a.m. and 56° now but expected to rise to 66°. Details for the next 10 days are here.

We’ve already reported on one thing for the kids, but it looks the city is going baby crazy. Yesterday, the Board of Supervisors, with the support of Mayor Lee, unanimously voted to put the Children and Families First Initiative on the ballot for November. If passed, the initiative will renew the city’s children fund and increase the percent of tax money allocated to that fund. SFGate has got details.

FURY Factory, an experimental theater festival presented by the company foolsFURY, starts this week. Headlining the festival is Teatro Luna, an all Latina theater ensemble from Chicago. Might be worth checking out for your weekend.

As per usual, MissionMission is cooler than us. Their 4th of July illegal fireworks coverage is pretty neat.

This is neat:

Enjoy the day everyone! While doing so, send tips to missionlocalATgmail.com.
