It is 7 a.m, 54° and headed to 62°. Looks like it will be mostly sunny for the last day of this delicious long weekend. Details for the next ten days are here.

For an insightful Sunday morning long-read. I’d recommend this piece by Mark Hogan for the LA Review of Books. Its argument is fairly pro-development, but makes its point in a gentle way that I think those more skeptical of pro-development arguments will appreciate.

The California Report featured the Mission’s very own Freedom Archives this week. The Archives has got over 10,000 related to social justice. They’ve got a couple of videos available online that might be worth a watch.

Looks like you can buy and sell restaurant reservations now. Let the bidding wars begin! Unless some reader out there wants to purchase a reso for this humble scribe, I’m never, ever, ever going to eat at State Bird. Sigh.

Enjoy the day all! Send tips and story ideas to missionlocalATgmail.com
