Just before 1 a.m. today four men in their 20s drove up in a black vehicle to the two women and two men, all 30, on Stevenson St. at 14th, according to police.

The men jumped out of their car and one of them pointed a shotgun at the victims. He demanded their property. The men and women complied, giving the suspects a helmet, a black bag, a sketchbook, art supplies and cell phones.

The suspects then drove off. No one was physically hurt.

Crime is trauma and the county offers different services. Here is a link to a page of services.

Victims of violent crime can contact the Trauma Recover Center at UCSF.

Moral of story: don’t hang out at 1am in the mish. If you’re coming/going, walk purposefully and get the hell inside. C’mon kids, Duh!

Just a note that some people still have to walk outdoors in whatever neighborhood they happen to live, and at all times of the day or night — not everybody works 9 to 5. Hello, welcome to living in a big city.

    Great description of the suspects.
