A 30-year-old victim was approached by the suspects on 23rd Street near York at 4:30 a.m. Monday when one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. He demanded the victim’s property—all of it.
The victim told police he was in the midst of complying when the second suspect hit him over the head with a wooden stick. The suspects took his property and fled the area on foot.
They managed to take with them the victim’s backpack, his ID, his wallet, miscellaneous clothes items and cash.
The victim was treated for his bruises at San Francisco General Hospital. No arrests have been made.
